Summer Themed Beer Stein
Solid pewter schnapps shot krug with a three panel relief decoration from originals by Tyrolean painter Franz von Defregger (1835-1921). Defregger was well known for motifs from Tyrolean rural daily life and this Summer Evening (Summerabend) theme mini stein is beautiful example. Â
In the panel to the right (of the front) you can almost smell the scent of freshly harvested hay – a well deserved rest!
A musician plays the Zither and fills the fresh air with a melancholy sound on the front. The left shows a cozy gathering after the hunt.
Artistic scrolls frame the scenes.
